Privacy notice
This notice explains how Mental Health International handles information submitted through this website.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, optional organisation, country, area of interest and message. Your country, language and learner-type selections in the course library are stored only in your own browser.
We store your website language in a necessary preference cookie for up to one year. The same preference may also be saved in your browser storage. This does not change your country or preferred course language and is independent of analytics consent.
How we use it
We use enquiry details only to respond to you and to understand demand for training in your country. We do not sell your information.
Optional traffic analytics
We record analytics only if you select “Allow analytics”. We record the public page path without query parameters, a broad device category, a referring hostname when available, and a hashed random browser identifier. We do not store IP addresses, form contents, sensitive query strings, click targets or exits in analytics. Staff, sign-in and private pages are excluded.
The identifier estimates browsers, not identifiable people. Analytics records are retained for up to 90 days and removed during collection; the browser identifier expires after 90 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent tracking. Select “Privacy choices” to decline future collection or withdraw consent. Declining removes the browser identifier. Existing de-identified page-view records remain until retention expiry and are not linked to enquiry details.
Accounts and learning records
Account authentication is provided through Clerk. Sign-in uses necessary session storage and cookies. Administrator access is approved separately; creating an account does not grant administrative privileges. For enrolled learners we store course revision, explicitly completed lessons, assessment attempts and scores, and eligible completion certificates. These records are separate from optional website analytics.
Certificates contain the learner’s account display name. Public verification reveals course, edition, issue date and credential type, not the learner’s name or account details. Learning, certificate and sign-in pages are excluded from optional traffic analytics.
AI-assisted authoring
Approved source excerpts entered by authorised course authors are sent to the configured AI provider through Replit AI Integrations to draft educational material. Do not upload personal health information, secrets or material you do not have permission to use. Generation inputs and drafts are retained for review and recovery, and are not published automatically. Raw author source excerpts are not sent to learner pages.
Sensitive information
Please do not include health information about yourself or others in an enquiry. Enquiries are not monitored for crisis.
